ഇഷ്ടി ഒരു വേദിക ചടങ്ങാണ്, gods-നു സമർപ്പണങ്ങളുമായി യജ്ഞങ്ങൾ (ബലി) നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു, ആഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ നിറവേറ്റുന്നതിനും സമൃദ്ധിയും ക്ഷേമത്തിനും ദിവ്യ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ തേടുന്നതിനും ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നു.
Significance

Rituals
- വീട്ടിൽ ഒരു പവിത്ര അഗ്നി (യജ്ഞ) സ്ഥലം ഒരുക്കുക.
- അന്നങ്ങൾ, നെയ്യ്, പഴങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ പോലുള്ള സമർപ്പണങ്ങൾ സമാഹരിക്കുക.
- വേദ മന്ത്രങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചരിച്ച് യജ്ഞം നടത്തുക.
